amp - decompress and play MPEG audio files

aaaammmmpppp -convert [ _M_P_E_G _a_u_d_i_o _s_t_r_e_a_m ] [ _o_u_t_p_u_t _f_i_l_e ]
DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
aaaammmmpppp plays named MPEG audio files, or (if invoked with
-convert option) decompresses a file to wave format. aaaammmmpppp is
capable of decoding both MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 audio bitstreams,
but only layer3.
OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
The options are:

display this usage information and exit
----vvvv,,,,-_v_e_r_s_i_o_n
display the version information and exit
----cccc,,,,-_c_o_n_v_e_r_t
convert the MPEG audio stream to output file format
----pppp,,,,-_p_l_a_y
play the specified MPEG audio streams (default action)
----qqqq,,,,-_q_u_i_e_t
supress printing of messages to STDERR
----dddd,,,,-_d_u_m_p
dump (print) raw mpeg data to stdout
----ssss,,,,-_f_r_a_m_e
show a frame counter
----gggg,,,,-_g_u_i
output messages to stdout instead of stderr (for use
with xmpeg3 or similar GUIs)
----wwww wav output
-_n_o_b_u_f_f_e_r
do not use an audio buffer
-_v_o_l_u_m_e <_v_o_l>
set the volume to <vol> (0-100)
-_d_e_b_u_g <_o_p_t_s..>
When compiled in debug <opt, opt2,...> code sections.
